Holly's Home Pet Care is perhaps our best find since moving to Colorado Springs. We have used Holly Wiepking's service for 3 years now and could not leave our animals in better care. Our dogs had just endured the long flight from Honolulu to Colorado Springs summer 2010. Then, we needed Holly's services because we had to head out of town immediately. As you might imagine, the dogs were very stressed out from the change of environment. Holly handled their 'craziness' as a professional. And we used her again later in the summer - both trips were about 5 days in duration. She was great with our animals - giving medications to our older dogs was no problem for her at all.
She happily took our nervous parent calls and gave us a full report while we were away.

Holly is great to our dog Perris…even though he likes to chase her cat!! He has a heart murmur, and Holly gives him his medicine every day when he is with her., and due to her nurse training, we feel comfortable that she will remain calm and get him the treatment he needs in an emergency. Perris is always happy to arrive at Holly's and when we pick him up, he always seems to have had a great time with her and her other dogs! Prior to finding Holly, we usually left our dog at a kennel when we left town. It was fairly inexpensive but he always came back sick or exhausted from the stress. We were so pleased to find a way to keep our dog home along with all the other chores she did in our absence: watering and taking in mail and newspapers.
In addition, Holly was instrumental in getting our family through some difficult last months with our beloved dog, Gus. In the few times we needed to leave town or just be gone for the day, she visited Gus 4 times a day to make sure he could make the many trips outside as he got older. This was no easy task because he was 90lbs! She even trimmed his toenails. Finally and perhaps most important of all, she just love him.KG

Holly has been the greatest find for our dogs. We've taken our last three dogs to her of all ages and they have loved it. None of them have come home hoarse from barking and I know they have had lots of play time plus lots of attention. We have been able to trust Holly with all their needs, including giving them the medication to taking them to their vet when needed. Holly has taken care of our cat, Nate, several times. Our cat is super social and loves cuddling and being around people, so I'm always concerned when we go out of town that he won't have enough of his daily "people time". We always have Holly come by each day to take care of his needs and just spend some quality time with him. When it comes to dog sitting, Holly is the best. It's good for dogs to build a relationship with one consistent person they can include as part of their family pack. Holly has been part of our lives for three years, and the dogs just love her! My two young pups are quite an energetic handful, and Holly is excellent at finding that perfect balance between nurturing and setting appropriate boundaries. She walks them, and she reports any issues she encounters, like ear infections, or lets me know about behaviour issues, like chasing backyard deer. Since he was a puppy we have entrusted our golden retriever, Boswell, to Holly. He is young with lots of energy and many extra needs. Taking care of the energy, Holly provides wonderful supervised play as well as daily walks. Boswell also has a special diet and medicines which have to be given a specified times, all of which Holly administers in a very timely and professional manner. We are very happy with Holly and so is Boswell - his is happy to go to Holly's and has a great time while there.Joanne

I cannot say enough about Holly and her wonderful care of my dogs and cat! Holly stepped in a couple of years ago when my other sitter gave up her business. I traveled often back then and I needed a kind, patient, and knowledgeable care-giver since I had four Corgis and an irascible calico cat. I found all that and so much more in Holly. One of my corgis was an elderly rescued dog who had lost the use of his hind legs. He had "wheels" to help him get around and Holly was great with him -- he wan't a small dog so maneuvering him in and out of his apparatus was not for the faint-hearted! Holly was so good with him - and all at the same time she had my other three corgis to feed, walk and play with. I have to say - none of my tribe even blink now then they see I am packing for another trip -- they love Ms Holly and I truly don't think they miss me a bit! Holly Wiepking is totally dedicated to her calling as a care giver and there is no one else I would trust with my pets!

Our Samoyed, Dodge, LOVES Holly. We used to leave him at a pet facility, where we thought he was happy. He could play with other dogs, swim in a little dog pool and have play time. The last time we took hem, he started crying and did not want to get out of the car. We knew something had happened, and he didn't enjoy it as he had in the past. Having known Holly from the Dog Park, I was happy to learn that she "housed" pets. I had thought that she only made house runs. So, we are at peace knowing that Dodge gets the best care around. He is always happy to get out of the car to greet here. That tells you everything. We can leave town knowing that he is safe, well-cared for and loved by and with Holly.
